Justin and I are coming up on six months of marriage in July. Honestly, where has the time gone?! I am starting to realize that the saying, “time flies when you’re having fun” is completely true. I wish time would slow down a little bit! Thinking back on the last (almost) six months, I don’t even know where to begin. I’m so grateful for Justin and all that he does. Marrying him has been such a blessing! Since getting married, we’ve moved to Baltimore, brought our pug home, I started at a new school, and so much more. And I have to say, Baltimore is really growing on us. With moving to Baltimore in the middle of winter, it was pretty difficult to get out and see the sights. Now that it’s finally warm outside, we’ve been getting out and exploring our new city. The great thing about Baltimore is that it’s so close to so many fun places! Washington D.C, New York, Philadelphia are all in pretty close proximity. You know what that means… more adventures to come this summer!
Besides moving to Baltimore, marriage itself has brought it’s own form of “newness”. I’ll admit, it hasn’t been all smiles with the new move and new school. This husband of mine is such a trooper. Justin and I have grown closer than I ever imagined we would be. I have felt like we have learned even more about each other. For example, Justin has a special talent that I was not aware of until we were married. He can come up with songs on the spot when reminded by something someone just said. The other day I said, “hey now,” to our pug, Mops, and he immediately started to sing “hey now, you’re an all star!” Little things about him like that make me smile. Justin is always making me laugh. He is always caring and thoughtful. He is such a hardworker and is a wonderful husband. He constantly goes out of his way to make sure that I am happy, and for that I am extremely grateful. He has made me happier every day of our marriage. That may sound cliché, but it’s true!
So here’s to six months of marriage, and many more to come, Hubs! I am so happy that I get to spend forever with you!
